We are so excited to have Ciara joining our team with an impressive experience painting stage backdrops, murals, and more! She has been a K-12 visual art educator for the past 10 years and has simultaneously maintained a professional fine art painting practice. As the mother to a preschooler in The Discovery Center’s UPK program, Ciara is a big advocate for the play based approach to early childhood education. She is looking forward to learning from and continuing on the legacy of Nancy Ryan, and working with The Discovery Center’s Team to help create magical memories for our future visitors!
The Discovery Center will have extended hours 10AM-4PM on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Due to the weather, The Discovery Center is closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
