The Discovery Center is looking for school age (grades pre-k thru 6th) artists to showcase UV black light art (i.e. neon colors, glow in the dark paint) in September’s First Friday Art Show. Submissions must include the child’s name and title on the back of the work. Maximum 16″ x 16. All mediums are welcome. We invite the public to submit their work by August 25, 2023 to be considered for the exhibit. The Glow-in-the-Dark Art Show will open 4-7pm on Friday, September 1 in the Museum’s Ahearn Theatre.
From Monday, August 14 until Monday August 28 The Discovery Center will host a self-guided activity in Studio 60 where your child can create UV black light art for our upcoming art exhibit.
