Due to the weather, The Discovery Center is closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Our newest Story Garden sculpture The Lorax was revealed on May 1st as we celebrated the re-opening of The Story Garden for the season!
The Lorax is dedicated in memory of a very special friend of The Discovery Center, Abel James Williams, who lost his battle with childhood cancer last year. His favorite story was “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss. The dedication included a special community sing-a-long of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
