ABOUT THE READ-A-THON
The Discovery Center hosted its first ever virtual Read-A-Thon on World Listening Day, Saturday, July 18, 2020. We have challenged members of our community to demonstrate their love of reading through a day of reading children’s books out loud. Videos from the Read-A-Thon can be found below, as well as on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The Read-A-Thon was a tremendous success, raising over $22,000 to support the immediate needs of the Museum.
