A great big shout out to Ariana, Christian, Antonio and Angel who joined the Story Garden team this summer from the Summer Youth Employment Program sponsored through Broome-Tioga BOCES. The students have worked hard all summer keeping the Story Garden in tip top shape under the mentorship of Chris M., Chris P. and Miss Nancy. Good luck to the students for a successful school year!
The end of the summer and the fall is a busy time at The Discovery Center with a high need for volunteers. Whether you would like to work an event like Indigenous Peoples’ Day or Halloweekend, help prepare for events, work in the garden, or perform general maintenance work, we have a need for your talents and expertise.
