Join The Discovery Center on Monday, December 27 for the first installment of DC Collaborates, featuring our friends at The Phelps Mansion! We will be learning about and celebrating “A Very Victorian Christmas”! Promptly at 11AM will be a book reading of the classic ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas, illustrated by Jan Brett, with themed activities and a table filled with information on The Phelps Mansion to follow.
Join The Discovery Center on Tuesday, December 28 for the second installment of DC Collaborates, featuring our friends at The Broome County Urban League! We will be learning about and celebrating Kwanzaa! Promptly at 11AM will be a book reading of Together for Kwanzaa by Juwanda G. Ford, with themed activities and a table filled with information on The Broome County Urban League to follow.
Join The Discovery Center on Wednesday, December 29 for the third installment of DC Collaborates, featuring our friends at The Ross Park Zoo! We will be learning about and celebrating “animals in the winter!” Promptly at 11AM will be a book reading of The Mitten by Jan Brett, with themed activities and a table filled with information on The Ross Park Zoo to follow.

We will be learning all about trains, specifically the Phoebe Snow! Promptly at 11AM will be a book reading of The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg, with themed activities and a table filled with information on The Vestal Museum to follow.
