We are excited to share that The Discovery Center has been awarded a grant from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield to launch “Plant, Grow, Eat!” By creating a nutrition-based educational programming pipeline for local families and children, we hope to impact food insecurity and childhood poverty in our community.
Plant, Grow, Eat is a community partnership program that will enhance family engagement and extend cultural learning opportunities by planting, harvesting, and teaching families how to grow and cook from their self-made veggie and herb gardens.
