On February 10, we celebrated Lunar New Year in conjunction with the grand opening of our new Asians Celebrations exhibit. The Discovery Center is one of five children’s museums in the United States chosen to host such an exhibition created by the Association of Children’s Museums sponsored by the Freeman Foundation. This foundation helps children learn about and understand East Asian cultures. Our new exhibit features celebrations in the countries of China, South Korea, and Vietnam.
The Discovery Center will have extended hours 10AM-4PM on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Due to the weather, The Discovery Center is closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
