Ms. Kara is Now Teaching Preschool!

The Discovery Center is very pleased to announce that Kara Legurskey has earned a promotion, becoming our newest preschool teacher! Kara has been a very valuable member of The Discovery Center team for almost three years and her calm and kind demeanor is appreciated by co-workers, children, and families. She has worked with all ages of children for over seven years and has a special interest in helping special needs children reach their full potential. As a result of her successful work with children here at The Discovery Center, she recently received a full scholarship to complete her Child Development Associate Credential. She is the mother of a wonderful little girl, Carmen, and enjoys spending time with her dog, Diesel.
