We are proud to learn we have been chosen as a recipient of the George A. and Margaret Mee Charitable Foundation Capital Improvement Grant. This grant is earmarked for a new roof for the amphitheater in the Story Garden as well as new lighting in the Museum. Both of these projects will create a valuable enhancement to the quality of our exhibits and programs. The permanent roof on the amphitheater will ensure that children’s performances, awards ceremonies, and celebrations can be held in The Story Garden. The new lighting in the museum will increase visibility and energy efficiency. The more energy efficient lighting will have the long term impact of decreasing our monthly utility bills. The total award is $84,857 and both projects will be started this spring!
