Last month, The Discovery Center presented the Blossom Award to IBM, presenting sponsor of Bug Squad, for their generous support in making this exhibit possible. Bug Squad is the first traveling exhibit we have hosted in 35 years and it attracted a record-breaking number of visitors in the three months it was here.
The Blossom Award, named after the Museum’s iconic bull statue, is given to organizations in recognition of their generous support and commitment to The Discovery Center’s Mission: to develop the intellectual, physical, and emotional well-being of the children of the Southern Tier through exhibits and programs that engage the senses, challenge the mind, and offer a diverse framework for discovery in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
