The elves have been busy scurrying around The Discovery Center getting ready for Santa’s Workshop. Holiday decorations will be going up soon, so mark your calendar to visit us during the holiday season. Opening day is Saturday, December 5, 2020 and of course, Santa Claus will arrive from the North Pole! Children will be able to visit with Santa in a socially distant manner both inside and out. The Story Garden will be decked out in holiday cheer and Santa’s Workshop will display how toys are made.
Make your reservations now for this special day. Two sessions are available to attend 10AM – 12PM or 12PM – 2PM. A third session is available for Gingerbread Exhibit participants 2PM – 4PM. Reservations are required.

Although this year there won’t be Breakfast with Santa, the Reindeer have stepped up to make lunch possible! In order to keep everyone safe and healthy, no food will be served inside The Discovery Center, but we are offering a Fly Away Reindeer Bagged Lunch for Drive-Thru or Pick-Up between 11AM – 2PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020. South City Publick House will be supplying Adult Boxed Lunches for $14.00 with a choice of Ham, Turkey or Tuna Salad. Kid Boxed Lunches are available for $10.00 with Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jelly. All lunches come with chips, a cookie, bottled water and a special treat for our Reindeer friends.
