Calling all community members- supermarkets, bakeries, scout troops, chefs, schools, everyday cooks and Gingerbread Enthusiasts! It’s the time of year when The Discovery Center starts thinking about our holiday displays, so put on your aprons and your baker’s hat to whip up a batch of gingerbread for this year’s holiday exhibit, Fantasy Village of Gingerbread!
Anyone can participate from children to adults to individuals, businesses or groups. Use your imagination and creativity to bake and decorate a house from your favorite fantasy book as you make a little magic for this oh, so yummy, holiday display.
All participants are invited to our Grand Opening from 4-7PM on Friday, December 6, 2024. The village will be on display through January 5, 2024. Entries must be submitted by Monday, December 1, 2024. Please register (for free) to let us know you’ll be participating!
