School is out and the fun is in at The Discovery Center! Join us this Winter Break with amazing Arctic Animal programming on December 26, 27, and January 2, and 3. Learn about wildlife conservation and the appreciation of ecosystem diversity with animal crafts, arctic story-telling, games, and hands-on experiments! These education-filled days will allow young learners to critically think about their planet’s future, while having fun and making arctic art. Activities run 11AM-1PM and are free with Museum admission.

Dec. 27Penguins of the Arctic: Icey Adventures
Plunge into Penguins of the Arctic for a day of frosty fun and discovery! Create your own penguin with shapes, make snow paint masterpieces, and learn how penguins carry their eggs in this chilly, hands-on adventure!

Jan. 2: Snowshoe Hare Arctic Expedition
Embark on a snowy adventure with Snowshoe Hare Arctic Expedition! Explore the world of camouflage, create fun rabbit puppets, and build your very own snowshoe hare in this frosty, interactive journey!

Jan. 3: Rockin’ Raccoons: Starring WSKG’s “Carl the Collector”
Join us for a fun-filled day at Rockin’ Raccoons with WSKG and Carl the Collector! Create your own collector-inspired crafts, explore Carl’s world, and discover the magic of curiosity and creativity!
