September’s First Friday artworks will feature former Discovery Center artist, Ruth Harasta. Any visitor to The Discovery Center will see her many creations throughout the Museum. Ruth was an accomplished artist who worked for Fowlers for many years designing their print ads and also for over 20 years at The Discovery Center.
We are proud to say that three generations of Ruth’s family has worked at The Discovery Center. Currently, Nancy Ryan, Ruth’s daughter, is our staff artist and Ruth’s granddaughter, Audrey, also worked here during her college days. We are so grateful to have such a talented family be a part of The Discovery Center!
The Museum will be open for play 4-7PM. Reservations are not required, but strongly encouraged: https://thediscoverycenter.org/visit
Since Kids Commons Gallery is such a small place, all visitors should wear masks and observe social distancing while making their way through the exhibit.
