The Discovery Kids Universal Pre-Kindergarten program participated in the Age of Nature art contest hosted by WSKG, inspired by the PBS original series The Age of Nature.
Land art is a great way to engage children with the world outside by encouraging them to appreciate the beauty and WONDER of nature. This allows them to be creative in an open ended way and opens up the possibility of exploring shape and space, counting and pattern making.
Due to the weather, The Discovery Center is closed Friday, November 22, 2024.
