During the months of July and August, The Discovery Center is collecting loose change to see how far we can travel. Each week we will calculate how far we’ve gone by laying the coins head to head. The larger the coin, the farther we’ll go! Coins can be dropped off at the Front Desk and the collection bin in the lobby or the donation receptacles in the Story Garden. Please help us on our travels! We’ve made a great start collecting coins (and dollar bills, too) but we’re just getting started. So keep bringing us those bags and jars of change to add to our “mileage”. Special thanks to the kids who donated their coins from selling lemonade!
