The Discovery Center along with the Ross Park Zoo, the City of Binghamton, the Community Foundation for South Central New York and ELAN, have begun the exploration process of a revitalization project for Ross Park to become a family destination in the Southern Tier.
The Discovery Center was first approached about this plan in 2019 and is excited to explore this project further. All organizations involved will be focusing on safety and security, accessibility and making improvements to the grounds so families can take advantage of all Ross Park has to offer. This project will not only include the Zoo and The Discovery Center grounds but also the various hiking trails throughout the park.
