Black History Month

Celebrate Black History Month at The Discovery Center with a Scavenger Hunt!

Throughout February, The Discovery Center is hosting a special scavenger hunt in the Museum highlighting famous African Americans. Did you know that many inventions from the traffic light to the Super Soaker were created by African Americans? This year we’ve added the Bug Squad in the hunt so be sure to see what contributions were made to entomology (study of insects) by African Americans. Complete the scavenger hunt and receive a prize as you leave the Museum! Free with admission.
