Meet Discovery Center Board Member, Zach Staff!
Zach Staff has served on our Board of Directors since 2017, including a stint as our Treasurer from 2019-2022 before now serving as President. A graduate of Binghamton High School, SUNY Geneseo, and Binghamton University, Zach currently resides in Binghamton. He is the Northeast Regional Aviation Planning Manager for McFarland Johnson. He is also an adjust lecturer at Binghamton University where he teaches students in the BU Scholar’s Program about applied research in aviation. Zach’s education was focused on urban planning and he has always been engaged in our community through past appointments to the Board of Directors at BU’s Campus Preschool and the City of Binghamton’s Planning Commission. Growing up in Binghamton, Zach has vivid memories of the fun he had at The Discovery Center as a child, both at the original location at Columbus School and in the current home at Ross Park. Bringing his project management and budget skills, as well as past experience on the board of a childcare center, Zach joined our board to ensure the Museum is around for his kids and grandkids to enjoy.
