Meet Discovery Center Board Member, Libby O’Connor!
After shaping curious minds for years as a Catholic elementary school teacher, Libby retired with a deep appreciation for the transformative power of learning. Over the years, she witnessed The Discovery Center’s vibrant evolution firsthand. Its halls became familiar territory, not just as a beloved yearly field trip destination for her students, but as a dynamic hub of exploration and wonder. Seeing the museum morph through various phases, each building upon the last, ignited a profound sense of pride within her.
After serving on the foundation’s board for six years, in 2020, Libby’s commitment deepened as she transitioned to our board of directors. Her dedication and wisdom proved invaluable, lending crucial support to the museum’s mission of sparking curiosity and igniting a love for learning in young hearts.
