Fall is almost here and we are finishing up our Annual Paint and Polish. Each year The Discovery Center closes for a short period of time when children go back to school to do our “housecleaning”. Each exhibit area is cleaned from top to bottom and gets a fresh coat of paint as well as some replacements for much loved (and worn out) costumes and manipulatives. Special thanks to all of the volunteers who help us clean our “big house” and prepare for a new season!
Many exciting events are coming up at The Discovery Center. Whether you would like to volunteer at an event with children and families or work outdoors in The Story Garden, we would welcome your help!
