The Discovery Center has received so much support from our amazing community during this challenging year. Many community members and businesses have been holding fundraisers on our behalf and we’ve been calling them our Champions. This Holiday season, The Champions of The Discovery Center have been busy raising money for our wonderful museum and they are challenging the community to match their efforts! They have raised $5,000 for the immediate needs of The Discovery Center and we are incredibly grateful.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to help us raise $5,000 to match this incredible gift. As many of our community members know, The Discovery Center was closed for several months which severely impacted our revenue streams. We’re happy to be open now, but we still are operating at limited capacity. We are more committed than ever to bring that Discovery Center magic to our friends and family, so this year we want to pay it forward.
Along with collecting donations, we’re also collecting Letters for Santa! Children can write their own letter to Santa, or fill out Santa Letter Template, and mail them directly to The Discovery Center, 60 Morgan Rd, Binghamton NY 13903. They can also drop them off at The Discovery Center right in Santa’s mailbox! Be sure to deliver your letter by December 14! We will be selecting 10 lucky families to receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card to help with Christmas purchases this year.
