As part of the Broome County Arts Council’s First Friday in October, we are hosting a Harvest Happenings Art Show! Experience the rich colors and warmth of the harvest season with a heartwarming celebration of imagination, color, and youthful expression. Come see original works by the talented students from C.R. Weeks and Floyd L. Bell Elementary schools! From swirling leaves in cozy fall colors to playful pumpkins every piece captures the wonder and warmth of the season through a child’s eyes.

As a reminder, The Haunted Hallows returns to The Discovery Center for another year of Halloween fun beginning Friday, October 3, 2025! Visit the not too creepy, but so much fun haunted house or the mad scientist lab atop the tower to learn about anatomy. Dance your way around the tombstones or take a ride in the magical pumpkin coach. Use your imagination to stir up some magic potions and try to solve all the Halloween riddles. You are welcome to come in costume. But, beware! Fun is everywhere!
